What To Expect From Your Clinical Exercise Physiology Sessions

From the very start of your exercise physiology journey, you can expect a personalised approach, tailored to your specific needs and goals. Here is what typically occurs once you arrive for your first appointment:

  • One of our physiologists will begin an assessment to understand your current level of fitness, any medical conditions or injuries you may have and your overall health and well-beingx
  • Based on the assessment, your exercise physiologist will then design a personalised program that will help you achieve your goals. This program will be tailored to your specific needs and may include a combination of cardiovascular, strength and flexibility exercises, as well as education on healthy lifestyle choices
  • During your sessions, your exercise physiologists will work with you to ensure you are performing the exercises safely and correctly and will adjust your program as needed. They will also provide ongoing support, guidance and motivation to help you stay on track

Exercise physiology sessions not only focus on physical exercise but also include mental health and neurological treatments. Our team is dedicated to providing clients with guidance, support and encouragement to achieve their wellness goals. The sessions are designed to be challenging but not overwhelming, with the intensity of the program gradually increasing as fitness level improves. We understand that everyone is unique and that's why we provide personalised programs tailored to meet individual needs, regardless of age or ability.
